there a really good headunit imo, i have n in my vl with two pairs of 6 1/2" splits off, sounds awsome, lots of features too!

Probably the amp in the headunit that's distorting the speakers, I mean speakers only distort if thre input is cliped and that from the amps.

Right...didnt understand that....all I know is it goes to 24 before it distorts.
