In excellent condition this was used when I won the Australian Sound Quality Championship in 2004, so it's results in an SQ application have been demonstrated.
For SPL these subs have a very good reputation with dual 3" voice coils and a power rating of 800rms. Cast blue frame w/polished chrome back place with original plastic still on it has been run with 600rms on a daily baisis in my SQ car for 2yrs and never used for SPL. It has been sitting in the shed for the last 2 yrs, wrapped in plastic unused. Remember this won National SQ title in 2004 and is in excellent condition.
Also rated at 800rms and for 2 years these subs dominated world SPL records as well.

I have a numb er of people interested but no one has come forward with the cash yet.
The price will not be dropped any lower. If it does not sell by Christmas then i'll be hanging onto it and using it in another project i have for a friend.

Well yes it is a VERY nice sub but you cant have it all.
The soundstream will match it in terms of output but will require a larger enclosure. Both are dual 4ohm coils and obviously the Iridium is new the other is a couple of years old.

goddam aaron you change stereo's more often then some people change their underwear ....
That price is sub only right, not inc. the box ? Do you remember the digital designs M1 i bought off you earlier this year/late last year... Will this overpower a sub like this one?? Im fairly interested in this, thing is i already have twin 12" alpine type-r's running off the M1, and im pretty happy with them atm... Searching for something that can pump a little deeper (like this??) as 12's just dont cut it real low down in the hz. |
