Hi Guys,
Im selling a pair of new Total Recoil 3-way 6x9's. They're supposed to be pretty wild speakers. I paid about $200 for them.. never got around to installing them. They are rated at 50W RMS, which is very conservative.

From Totalrecoil.com.au:
"WARNING! These 6x9's are not as common as they may first appear. For a bit of fun we entered these 6x9's into an SPL competition in Melbourne. We reached a massive 139.7dB! (higher than people with three 15" speakers)
We do admit that we pushed over 1400Wrms into these 6x9's, but we had no idea we would reach such a high number. These speakers are so efficient that even off a modern 4 x 40W headunit, high SPL can be achieved."

They're in as new condition.. i think i've still got the boxes for them. They've just been sitting around for 6 months. I purchased them just before the Fairmont had its little fire incident. There is a small dent in the dust-cap of the tweeter.

Looking to get $130ono.

Its just in the dust cap on the tweeter. The guys at total recoil could probably put a new dustcap on it easily anyhow.

I'll get some pics on the weekend.

no mitch - you'd need spacers mate. only 6" speakers would fit perfectly!

depends on how well you do them! you can get the cheap looking spacers from s**t autos, & they could look pretty crap, or spend some real time & a bit more cash to do it right! get it all carpeted etc!

I'll throw in some free spacers if the buyer requires.

Price drop: $100
