What condition is the tps in? Mine, and every other at the wreckers up here has issues.

Also, whats with the elongated holes? i've never seen one with that before.

for example: when you have idle issues with a large cam without any tuning, and you turn the throttle body screw up to compensate, the stock TPS might not have enough adjustment to keep it at idle voltage.

so you remove the metal inners where the screws go, which lets you turn the TPS clockwise more to keep it between 0.55 and 0.85 volts.

Oh, i think i should have been more specific. I know what the idea is, many injected cars i've had, have this standard for that reason. I just hadn't seen it on the Fords before. :)

So its done on the fords by just removing the sleeves, interesting.

the tps is in fine nick. i just dont need the adjustment any more now that i can fiddle with the tune.
