Hi All,

As topic suggests - selling both amps.

MRV-F400 is in fantastic condition - was used for mid-range speakers in 4ohm stereo.

F400 = ~ 4 X 50 + RMS @ 14V 4ohm.

The MRV-F305 is it's newer but smaller brother - with about 4 X 40 RMS @ 14V 4 ohm. Cosmetically it has seen better days but still performs like any other old school V12.

Can provide pics upon request.

MRV-F400 - $160
MRV-F305 - $140

Will do a deal if someone wants both of them :)

Thanks,
Steve

Would these be powerful enough to run an old Clarion 15" dual voice coil sub decently?

Can i for instance set the weaker amp to run the two front speakers in a 2 channel mode and have the stronger amp run both rear speakers and the single sub? And would it be adequate (I don't need thumping bass just decent bass for drums and bass guitars)

Hmmm the 305 could quite easily bridge and run two front speakers no problems...probably even be a little bit much...would have to set the gains below nominal.

If your sub was SVC and not DVC, it would all merry up fine...but I don't think it will handle the DVC load all that well - would probably also be underpowering it also.

Is the sub dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm ?

Yep - as you can see, the 305 has some peeling paintwork on the blue strip - hence the cosmetic damage - could always sand it bank and paint it whatever colour you wanted to if it were to be a show piece etc.

The 400 despite being older is in better cosmetic condition and is slightly more powerful also.
