Hi All,

Selling my AU XR6/8 pin hole leather steering wheel as it's been sitting in my cupboard for 6 months, and I've grabbed a different wheel to use instead.

This will suit all EF, EL & AU's (and Fairlane/LTD variants) so you can use your existing cruise switches and airbag with this wheel.

As pictured, it is in excellent condition with no visible wear that I have noticed.

After $130 for it.

Pick up welcome from Cheltenham VIC, or I'm happy to post at the buyer's expense. Postage will be between $10-$20 depending on postcode.

Please post, PM or contact me on 0418 597 239 for any enquiries.

Thanks,

Justin.

Mate, do you have to start 20 new threads for your items?
Can you start putting all the EF/L NF/L parts in one thread.

No worries. Is there a way to add this to an existing thread?

I wish there were mate.
Maybe open up a new window of FM and copy and paste everything to a new thread, once you're done just report the ones that need to be deleted and we'll remove them.

Until then... do you have a black airbag to go with it?
Judging by the convo on the "other" forum I'm guessing no.

Haha, yeah no black airbag unfortunately! I do have a couple of grey ones though, one of which I'm going to test paint....

Painting them comes up ok, but you end up with shiny spots where you rest your hands.
That's using VHT and on an AU bag which is smooth compared to E series.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of - I'm not a big fan of painting interior stuff for this reason (as well as a few others!).

Is there even a such thing as a black AU bag, or are the all either grey or charcoal?

Yeah, i think all the series 2 upwards were black... Every AU2 up i've seen are black from the door trims down.
Mine still looks ok, i'm not too fussed but if i come across a black one cheap i'll grab it.
From memory it was only high series that had different colour trims in series 2?

Yeah, I've got that really dark charcoal in my Series 3 and the same colour in my S1 Fairlane.
Neither are quite black though. I was wondering if there was a black AU airbag like I think the EL XR's had.

Definately, my mates has an AU2 SR that's black, and my mother in laws AU2 Falcon is black.

Cool, I'll have to search a bit harder then! I actually didn't think black was available in AU's only the very dark charcoal which is quite close to black - I definitely have close to black in both my cars, but against the black leather wheels, there is a slight mismatch against the leather and airbag.

Now available once again. Thought I was keeping it for another car, but have no use for it now.

Can also supply an airbag for $20 extra if required.

Thanks,

Justin.

As pictured above, it's black, not 2 colour.
