Hey everyone, for those who don't know, I converted my EL to a manual and now have sitting in my drive way a BTR 4 speed auto transmission. It was in good working order when I was still driving it 2 weeks ago, though I think it did require a service, such as oil change and top up...when I drained the pan to do the conversion it was flowing out black oil...not sure if this is normal but the oil I put in the T5 was red.

With the transmission comes the tailshaft...so if anyone is interested in one because theirs is about to die, reply post or PM me.

Auto box is in Melbourne 3074. I prefer pick up to make life easier but if need be, buyer can organize freight. Asking $350 ono...honestly I just don't know the price but I have to name a price on AFF...*shrugs*


My second item is a wiring loom which came with my conversion out of an EF but couldn't use since my car is an EL. Its for the Manual conversion so if someone is running an EF Manual ECU with an auto wiring loom you can now change it to a manual one =D. Asking price is $60 ono...and again I had to name a price due to also posting on AFF and I am clueless with prices. Wiring loom is also at my house...can post if wanted at buyers expense.

EDIT: Also forgot to mention...car has done 190000kms when I took the auto out.

being in vic try $200 for the box because you are in vic. Some guys cant sell a perfect one with 150 kms on it for $100.

What drugs are you on Stomper the going price for a BTR 4 speed tranny in Australia is $350 to $600 depending on condition.
BTR 4 speeds that are advertised as known to be in bad condition go for around $150 to $250.

Been told BTR4 speeds are worth a fair bit...so I am sticking to the $350 since turboef hasn't gotten back to me yet.
