hock you a load of crap for your nice strong structual looking EL...
long story short... Next door neighbours bout a ute at some Sydney markets... Had been pranged cheap repair job... Turns out it had a bent axle (not housing luckily) due to disk wobble it used a set of brake pads for the 6.5hr trip... Things like this are a bit hard to find til you own it and its too late... Like I said be dubious...

Honest swap offer, possibly the best you will get. I'll swap you my EF Fairmont, needs a new gearbox and headgasket. I will supply the box. Has no rego or roadworthy. 360k's. Thats my offer, take it or leave it.

Mate, interested in your 5SPD Falcon.
I have an EF Fairmont Ghia V8 on LPG im looking to sell or swap for a manual falcon (but must be decent) Ive had a few offers but cars have been rats. I'll even throw in some chrome handles to sweeten the deal a little. If he doesn't want to travel that is his choice.
