Hi BF XR.. I've just compared the spoilers and unless I'm missing something, they are totally identical.

Also, this grey one is immaculate.. so swapping is dependent on the blue one being pretty good too, if I have to paint it anyway, I might as well keep this one.
I'll have some photos for you in a tic.

Where are you based? I'm in Vic Park (Carlisle actually) and can meet you somewhere if need be.

"Green Car" is a member here and this spoiler is off his wifes car I drove out to Gosnells today to get it... so if you need history, he'd be the guy to ask.

You don't have to swap if you don't want to.. I just thought it would benefit both of us to get a closer color match to what we need.

When you see Dan if you decide to do this.. pleasse don't forget to ask how much for the spoiler still attached to the boot.. because I'd be seriously stoked if all I had to do was swap boots on my EL and wire up the brake light..

ta heaps

OK.. here are some photos (sorry dan for hijacking, but I do want to buy your boot too :-) )

As you can see.. it could probably do with a polish, but the worst thing you could say about it is that the led cover has faded a little, and you can swap them if you want (I was gonna tint mine dark anyway.)

we havent heard from dan for a few days

anyway. that spoiler looks fine mate so

edit : thinking about it. its stupid to separate the spoiler from the boot and then put it back on. so if u go to dans 1st. just swap your bootlid and give him your silver spoiler. the way i see it u would owe him 0$ to do so? as he has a bootlid he can still sell, and he can sell your spoiler to me. everybody wins.

let me know. as soon as my uncle gets back im going to be finding out where his lot is and then ill be working out pick ups.

K, I was hoping not to separate the boot from the spoiler as well.. I'll PM you my numbers just in case we need to make arrangements.

My boot lid is not as nice as his, thats why I want it so will probably buy the lid and give him my spoiler to sell to you if it's acceptable to him. (he can see this here to verify it's your wish)

thanks heaps..

Hey Mr BF-XR,

I just got a text from Dan, said I should come at 5pm today and that it was 50 bucks for the whole boot with spoiler.. I think he wants me to take and pay for the whole thing.. so I guess the question becomes.. Do you live closer to Dan (up near hillaries) or to Me (Vic Park/Carlisle)

Apparently the boot paint isn't great... but it has to be better than mine which has a dirtry great rust spot up near the back window.

ill sms him now. and tell him about the spoiler trade.

if u give him 10 or 20 bucks and your lid and the spoiler. and then i come and buy the silver spoiler from him then he looses nothing. and its easier for you and makes no diff to me really

mabe he doesnt have 24/7 net access...

so if your going up tonite. just take your spoiler and just do a direct swap for it. i dont see how he could have a problem with that. im going to give him $40 for the spoiler no matter if its blue silver or pink.

im in canning vale also, which is y its hard to find out exactly how im going to get the bits. my uncle has a lot around there somewhere so when he gets back tonight ill get on the phone and check out wat street hes in and go from there

i can really only pick at 3 things here :P

light scratches on P R N D clear cover (old 1 has 4 big holes in it)
wrong radio surround (as far as im aware i wasnt even getting one)

rear demist button surround has holes in it from aftermarket switches (will just paint wats already in the car)

i also got 2 of the big fascias. apparently 1 of them isnt in the best condition. but a quick look and i cant see anything wrong.

im going down to supercrap tomorrow to get the paint suggested by mongoose.

should i just get some of the thin green outlining tape and cover the P R N D face or does it come out..

Trust me, those two hours late were well accounted for... Didn't meet Dan till well after 6pm.. and he is over an hour away from you..

I'm stuffed.. long day.

stoked the color code was an exact match though... don't have to paint the boot yet.. woohoo
