Hi everyone.

The faimly team has decided to sell up from kart racing. We have a fair bit of stuff to move. Its located in Cairns, but I'm sure something could be sorted out if it went more south!

We have:

Individual karts:

2 * karts
Azzuro chassis (adult size chassis' but i ran one of them as a junior with ease)
Yamaha KT-100J motor, (for use in the class "national" and is good for either juniors or seniors, so 12+)
Recent full carby rebuild (last week actually, so i could take them for a run up in marreba!)
Push trolley
Stand
Some spare parts
Asking $1750 ea.

1 * kart
Azzuro chassis (this is a newer chassis and runs an ON THE FLY ADJUSTABLE TORSION BAR!! and is the only one in cairns and i think townsville with it... worth its weight in gold that bit!!)
Yamaha KT-100J motor (all our motors are built by a guy down south, and it shows, they are very very good!)
Recent carby rebuild (last week again)
Push trolley
Stand
Some spares
Last years Cairns championship winner for senior national heavy!!
Last years championship was one of the best i can remember for a long time, with most meetings, myself and one other guy pushing our own PBs around the track lower and lower.
Asking $2500

OR

We have the entire team for sale:
All 3 karts
All other associated bits that we have aqquired over our 7 year stint in racing. (Laser wheel aligners, tyre bead breakers, etc)
Trailer (which has just had a new draw bar put on it. Room inside for two of the karts and equipment for three, and third kart goes on roof. We raced in Marreba and Cairns with the trailer set up like this. Too easy!
Asking $8000

The whole team would be perfect for someone who owns their own business and will sponsor themselves. We have done, all the karts are signwritten and is the trailer, and we do get lots of comments from people when they see it!

Also, all the karts are ready to drive. 2 of the three i had in mareeba last weekend to have a run in. They still run sweet, motors are fine, and karts drive beuatifully! If you bought either a kart or the whole team, they would be ready to take straight to the track, dump them on the road, put $4 of fuel in and race all day!

Any enquiries can you please ring Mike (Dad, and team boss! ) on (07)40336944 during work hours or (07)40343707 after hours. But not too late, he is getting old!!

Thanks for that,

Nic

i love karts, so tempting to get into it but my funds won't allow.
they sound like pretty decent machines. whats the top speed on something like that?

on a really tight track like cairns about 80, but you get there quickly. on a big open track can edge up 95 to 100. roughly. But its the handling which is the best bit, you can carry so much speed through tight corners.

other classes are faster, but also more expensive!
