It lets you adjust where the shifter stops when changing into a gear, it also saves you over shifting and ruining the syncros

so do ya get a 50% shorter shift without the bump stops instaled. are they hard to instal? i heard with the rip shifter and similar you gota drop the gearbox a bit to instal it, is it the same with these ones?

You still get the shor shift yuou can just adjust how much shorter you want to shift. Im not to sure on the installing as I will be installing mine with the box out of the car but you can install with the box still attatched if you need it lower just drop the cross member for the gearbox

just incase any1 wanted fiting instructions.

These shifts are generally pretty easy to fit.All you do is take out the console, then remove the gear lever. Then we recommend you lower the rear of the gearbox to give you more room on top to remove the four bolts that hold the shift to the gearbox.Once you have the old shift out, give the top surface of the box a general clean.Apply a thin bead of silicone to the top surface where the shift mounts.Be sure the plastic bush stays in the selector where the ball of the shaft fits in.You will see this very easily.Fit new shifter, lift up rear of gearbox, replace gear lever and console. once you see what you have to do you will probably say s**t,that was easier than I thought.

these shifters are worth it, much the same as the Steeda one in my car. Anyone who is borderline deciding to jump on this group buy, do it! Shifts are smoother, quicker, and with a shortened gear lever with it, looks hot!

are they are shorter shift, or a shorter shifter?
