OK guys I'm going to start PMing my bank details and I'll place the order this arvo. I'll get as many as they have in stock and get back to you with numbers.

Price: $22 ea
Shipping: $5.30 (Aus Post prepaid 500g satchel)
Seeing as no one is getting more than 2 at this stage the 500g satchel will cover it.

For those who are a bit slow
1 camera pick up: $22
2 camreas pick up $44
1 camera delivered: 27.30
2 cameras delivered: 49.30

As I said earlier the sydney guys can pick them up from me to save on shipping. If you only deposit $22 or $44 in my account I'll assume you're picking them up.

I'll get everyone to put CMOS and their user name as the transaction description.
eg. CMOS Hyena, CMOS RedRoo etc

Thanks :)

OK guys I rang up this morning to place the order. They have 28 in stock and I ordered them all :)
I've got it to be included with the next delivery that comes here to work but unfortunately they only deliver every 2 weeks. I just missed the last one so I should get my hands on them early November. The upside is it won't cost anything for shipping (to get them to my end) so that's a further saving I can pass on :)

I've received payment so far from: mrsperm, twistedel, fairmont599, redroo, macca and lukey (thanks for the 70c tip lukey  )

I'll post again as soon as I receive them and let everyone know when they're about to be sent out.
After I get this lot sorted I'll order a second lot if there's still sufficient interest.

No worries guys. I've only received payment so far for 13, there's my 2 and then regie and mre50l will probably pick there's up so that still leaves 10. If I haven't received payment for them by late next week I'll allocate them to those further down the list or who ever else may want one.

I've seen little cameras like these get hot if you over power them, combined with a high ambient temperature this will not be good for their longevity.
If they only draw 50mA a 6v Zener, a cap and a 200R in series will drop the power and give a degree of spike protection. All worthwhile in an automotive environment...

3 terminal reg and a cap is easy if you need more current.

Thanks guys,
I now have payment also from serialfool, huggybear, twason and MMD.

I'm still waiting on payment from: 1800reverse, gravelrash, alfy and jaikai.
If you guys still want your cameras then get the money to me in the next few days otherwise I'll pass them on down the list.

When are you going to get a deal on high quality LCD screens on the cheap

Actually, there looks like an option for me to set up an account direct with the overseas suppliers if I'm going to buy a large quantity or value of stuff. I've made a few inquiries and they don't sell stand alone LCD screens as such they do have other useful stuff like portable GPS's.

It looks like there's going to be an issue with future group buys the way I'm doing it now but in order to keep this thread on track I've started another one here:

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/post738961.html#738961

Check it out, especially if you want a cheap GPS
