I know. I think the kunts are trying to give me a run around.. I could take them elsewhere, except the other joint wants $40 each shield, which is 10 spot welds, to weld the nuts on.. I was like get fukkkkked and just walked out of there. Wankers.

Dude sorry I missed your post.
Yes it has taken longer than expected but these circumstances were beyond my control. They are booked in for Monday to get welded up. Please understand that I am trying my best, I dont work in the industry, I have my own day job and am also studying tafe via distance ed, and I also have 2 cars I have recently had to work on, I'm seriously running short on time - I got home 30 minutes ago. I'm not trying to make excuses but I have only had these shields for 2 weeks now, so I'm on track, I have just been delayed by the workshop. |

Tomorrow's Monday
 All that needs to be done is welding the nuts on to the angle - all the holes are drilled and slots cut out. Might have to buy some bubblewrap depending on how much I have too actually - no drama's there though. |

Yeh I hope they only have them for a day or two so I can post them this week as well.
Theyve been test fitted on an AU motor, so all the bolt holes will line up. I may have to slightly re-drill/expand the holes on the actual heatshield if they weld the nuts a bit off centre, but they should be sweet as the holes are a few mm larger than the allen bolt thru them. I'll post up how long the joint rekons it will take to weld them tomoro night. |
