Hehe ...Fraser's already arranged to come round & get it THURS night.

I don't want to start any 'war' over this stick, ...so you & Fraser will have to agree on who's getting it before I let it go to either of you!

Let me know.

has anyone found that the main vibration is coming from where the stick meets the lever? or somewhere else? if this is the case, im gonna have to bolt some rubber between where they mount...

Neil, these were a group buy, each paid and then had it shipped. A few pages back I was willing to start another buy if I got the numbers. If you can get enough people together (5 min) then I will get another lot from the US ;)

Anyone got a pic of their shifter fitted with the triax handle?
I want to see how close it is to the centre console in 2nd and 4th gears. Must be on an EF or EL.

Cheers

You CAN'T just bolt up the stock handle & rubber mount to the shifter, because the stock handle bolts are not long enough to go through the 2 rubber surfaces AND the handle into the shifter thread.

I managed too. I did it on both my cars. Both have the stock handle attached directly to the lever on the shifter like the stock one.

I've got about 5-6mm of bolt sticking through the other side of the short shifter lever.

I dunno if it's just me ...but does anyone else find they sometimes have to force the stick into 1st from neutral with the new shifter?

Happens to me reasonably often ...basically, I have to give it a good push to get it into 1st gear ...the rest of the shifts are fine.

Dunno why this happens ...any ideas? :?

markr154 I dont get that problem. Mine is very good. Maybe its more of a clutch issue? Are you still using the stock length handle or have you gone back to the shorter one.
Its possibly due to the rubber bush that you have used.
My rubber mounting pad that I used from the stock handle is fine. It has a metal backing.
I'll take a picture of mine and post it up.

yea that sounds like more of a clutch problem i dont have to 'force' the shifter into any gears :P apart from 3rd but thats because my tranny needs servicing
