I am looking to sell my NF II Fairlane Ghia for sale in a few weeks. How much can I get for it?

The car has got the following items:

New tyres, 15 inch alloy wheels, new muffler, new windscreen, MP3 player with remote, mocha paint in VGC, cappa velour interior, full electrics, auto climate control, cruise control, central locking, except the seats, LPG, 4 speed auto, 4 Litre engine and 12 months rego. Only done 177,000 kms, have receipts for work done and runs very well.

Have a look around and see what people are asking, to be honest there is no point asking on FM as they tell you a cpl less than actual price lol.
Put whatever you think it's worth, they can only beat you down... but it's a BAD time to be selling, be prepaired to drop your price as there are so many cars on the market.

How does the $8500 amount sound? A good NF can go for $7k to $7.5k.

Add $2k for LPG, from my POV, my price for this car sounds like a bargain. Plus its a six cylinder, not a V8 like Daniel's car.

You can't add the price of LPG mate, it never works that way unfortunately, but it definately helps in selling the way fuel prices are.
Look at carsales, carpoint and Trading Post and see what the avg price is.

I rekon youd get 7-7.5 realistically, put it up at 8-8.5 tho n see how you go for sure!

Its not the v8 stopping people from buying my car, as thats the main thing people are attracted to who have enquired or come to see/drive it.. I say its just theres too many cars on the market and the sort of people who would buy an FBT are either quite happy with another nice car they have or needing a loan (younger types) which takes time..

I am aiming at families rather than younger people in their 20's. Its too much for a first car (maintenance wise). Yeah, good kms Daniel, like I said only got 177,000 kms.

Yeah so true, we'll find the small ones will hold some retail value... anything else has gone down hill in a big way.
I doubt we'll see it pickup anytime soon, i think another recession is on the cards as there is way too much debt.

I agree with that... too much of a gap between rich and poor, there's just too many people that are living beyond their income.

Persistance pays off, and besides, I should ask my family and friends first.

I can include LPG, because there are plenty of NF's out there without LPG. Thus, if someone buys one, it will costs about $2k - $2.5k to get it installed, where as this car already has got it.
