Hi there - NEED TO GET RID OF THESE PARTS NEW ENGINE ON THE WAY.

complete eb engine - re ringed and rebuilt head and all new bearings and gaskets - make an offer

recoed eb head - make an offer

JMM cam dev 5 excellent condition - the JMM dev 5 cam i will take $180 for as it is nearly a $500 dollar cam

turbo exhaust manifold tuned lenth with wastegate.

Wastegate is a hks type. it has been hardly used and accepts all hks parts. comes with many springs - 14.7psi, 6 psi, 10 psi and a few others im not sure of. - $100

I want 600 for the manifold but pics are coiming ASAP will be negotiable depending on peoples thoughts. But will throw wastegate in if you buy manifold before wastegate is sold.

Hi, do you have any other parts? Like the drive for the distributor?

Dev5s are happy on stock ECU, they are fine with stock autos too.
Not billets either, they are regrinds.

There must be a s**t of shims in the rocker arms then being a highlift cam?

Lift has nothing to do with how many shims you need.
Whats been removed off the base circle of the cam is what dictates the amount of shim needed.

Hmm i may be wrong here, but what you said is my point.

To keep the lobe lift high you must grind more of the rest away to keep it relative, therefore needing more shims to keep the right preload on the HLA's?

If more lift was the only reason they took base circle off, you'd barely need any shims :P
Not gonna explain it here, it's a For Sale thread, but Dev5s ARE regrinds, and they DON'T require a million and one shims.
RPD cams did, Mock cams don't.
