Item: EL BTR 4 speed Auto
Price: 200 Type: Part Condition: Used Description: hey all, i bought this gearbox a lil while back from someone on this forum. its since had a new filter kit with new gasket installed and has new oil in it. (cost me $90 in oil) i also have an EA torque coverter if you want it too (still on car) the box was removed this afternoon and moved undercover for the photo's im looking for 200 (i paid 250 before the filter kit and oil) but im open to offers. its also on ebay so you have 5 days to let me know

you sure its from an el? coz i thought from later ef models that they removed the dipstick and got rid of the dipstick hole all together

just a wild stab at something....
above the word ISSUE, it says 0593. maybe that means its a 5/93 Issue/Build? coz it has the dipstick and all... just a thought.

Thats strange its got the EF-EL trans housing....but a dipstick maybe its an Ef series 1 Auto.

no probs. it was sold to me as an EL box. thats why i included the codes on the side.

Its a EF box. The EL's never had dip sticks and the EB-ED's had less fins on the bell housing. No biggie. Does the same thing.
