take off little black cover on bottom of ecu, plug it in, reset ecu (disconnect battery for 10mins) and drive. was $600 originally (have reciept). works EXCELLENT with good exhaust and intake. good gains down low. made 118 rwkw with above mods everything else stock.

considering it came out of an EF I6 auto, I would suggest it will go into your car,

possibly not. there is a difference in loom shape from ef to el, so im guessing there must be some differences. plus el had distributor and ef did not.

physically, the chip will still fit from ef to el...

as for dizzy vs coil pack, the best people to ask would be chiptorque

i was looking at maybe 200 bucks but open to offers. just to put it in perspective: we will spend maybe 800 bucks on an exhaust and only gain (up to!) 10rwkw (and a good sound of course). so performance per dollar is pretty good.
