I got a T5 box, bell housing, clutch assembly, clutch cable and clutch pedal here.

The only thing missing from the conversion is the manual pedal box pin. The alternate to this is by using the MalWood pin.

I got this as part of a deal for my Astra. I was going to put it in my EF but i dont have the time to have the car off the road while it goes in and fixed my auto. I also do more then 500km a week with part of that city driving and the other part going to work at 3am (so driving a manual may be a little annoying when im tired as s**t).

The trans fluid is nice and red so it should be in reasonable condition.

I dont have pics as yet (can take some soon).

I can help with postage around australia (should be around $100).

Im unsure about the condition or the Ks on the box. So SELLING AS IS.

I am asking around $450 for everything PICK-UP (can assist with shipping as stated above), but i would be happy with about $400 for the box which i see as reasonable.

PM or post here.

Inspection welcome and will take offers on the box.

May also part the gear if need be.

Ben

Pretty sure its from an ED but unsure. I know its e-series because i unbolted it form a ED motor.

Its a i6 not a V8 one.

Yep, the v8 boxes have different gear ratios, different input shafts, and different bearings. Cant swap I6 and V8 boxes without LOTS of stuffing around.

Good price for the conversion, good luck with the sale.

Pretty sure there is no difference between EA to EL T5's.

I hear that the 1st gear ratio may be different and that the clutch is a 3 bolt on the EA's.

This is a 6 boltclutch. I got to grab most o f the bolts off my mate cause they were left in his tool box but they are all there.

So you have the complete conversion minus the pedal box pin to go in a EF/EL or EB/ED??

i think that there is something that is different with the reverse gear...ie... wont hold reverse as it would with an ef/l gearbox...

apart from that and maybe a difference in gearing im not to sure

There are several revisions of T5's between EA and EL. EA's have a shorter 1st gear (too short), and there is no syncro on reverse until ED (or was it ef...).

OK guys. This is still here. The pin that is needed is normally $9 from ford but can expect to pay upto $20.

I dont really have much time to post this item but i am interested for any trades. Im looking for 17 inch rims, extractors, another cam, tickford lip kit, lowering kit(springs and camber kit), audio gear, LCD(incar), XD/XE falcon, or anything else that you think i may be interested in.
