With the new gearbox my dump pipe fowls and i had to get a new one made. My old one is now up for sale...
It is: - 3" Mandrel Bends - HPC Extreme Coated (although you can see about 25% of this has come off on the outside where i wrapped over the top. You can simply use some wrap over it again. - It was used on my GT35/40 Turbo and 45mm Turbosmart waste gate This was used in my system and flowed 400+rwkw no problems. Hmmm to run an external gate - I can't help think that this will be something I will end up doing in the future...but GT35/50's run internally gated with no worries (in stock form I know!)...but with potential for higher boost later etc, I'm debating whether this be a good investment *at this point in time* or not - dilemma !
Tough call Aaron...I know what you mean - I spent quite a lot of coin getting things HPC'd...and I don't think it made much difference...not the best use of $1000 IMHO  .
If you were doing a deal with a GT35/40 - I'd be thinking a bit more proactively  hehe

Well the turbo is staying where it is so that might make your decision eaiser...
According to my Turbo guy HPC (or equivilent coating) makes upto 30% power difference and is definately worth the money. Dont know if thats true or not but with everything else i've done I dont mind spending a little more to finish it all off properly. Only my dump pipe is done i didn't do the whole exhaust.

I think the trouble with this is having a situation where it would fit. But for someone about to make their own, it would be great! And cheap too

I agree, but for anyone wanting to go turbo a dump pipe like this will cost $300+ to get made + $250 to get HPC coated so it;'s very good value.
There is no turbo flange on the end so you can simply add your own to suit your turbo....
