brought this ecu to put in my car but gave up on trying to make smart lock for my car and now i need the $$$ so it needs to go $200 ono photo can be posted if need be for part No.

so it doesn't have smartlock....so does that mean it can be used in a EA with no smartlock.

I think what he meant is he didn't have smart lock, and couldn't get it to work... if you have smart lock already it shouldn't be an issue.

thats right the ecu dose have smart lock and my car dosnt have it cause i have an eb II pre smart lock it first came out a few months after eb 2 started

tristo - Im pretty sure you can use it on a 94 XG. But I wouldn't be total sure. You'll have to ask for the part numbers and compare them.
polish'd - If you wanna put this into an EA you will need a smart lock module, which isn't the most amusing job. Hence why it's been sold. Cheers

PM the seller and ask for the part number...
As for going harder the difference is that XR's have no speed limiter.. um in the autos it shifts harder... bot the case this time. This would be good for someone after a manual conversion though. Cheers
