Hi guys I have for sale my car. It is a EL XR8 series 2.

Car is 5 speed manual. Last owner had clutch replaced.
Car had 157,940 ks on it when I bought the car. Car now has 164,182ks on it now. When car was bought it had new rear main seal, front and rear rotors, hub seals and watts link set replaced for RWC. At 159,083ks on 5/09/08 I had APS gas conversion install car gas at a cost of $4350.00. System installed was the vapour injection. Tank capacity is 68 litres. Not sure what ks is around town but on a long trip just get over 500ks to a tank. Car has AU XR8 maf, professional products 65mm throttle body, 65mm EGR, MSD cap, rotor and leads. Replaced front calipers 1400ks ago with new ones. All pads are still pretty new. Bendix pads. Car had oil, brake fluid, gearbox oil and diff oil replaced as per specs 1400ks ago. Oil pressure switch was replaced a month ago with a new one. Has K&N panel filter. Car also has Pioneer cd radio with bluetooth, amp under passenger seat and pioneer 200 watt 4 way speakers by 4. 2 in doors & 2 in rear parcel tray. Over $800 just in stereo.
The rims are not genuine they are the copied ones. Car also has MagnaHiflow cataylic converters. These cost me $800 fitted.


Looking for $10000 ono. Car will not come with a RWC but from my paper work you will see it was only done 6-7000 ks ago.

There is only 1 kilowatt difference. 1 kw less on gas.

Seems to be no interest on this forum. Do you guys think its overpriced.

I don't think it's an unrealistic price at all.
Looks like an immaculate EL2 XR8, it's manual which is always sought after in the 8s 2nd hand, and the vapour injection is a massive bonus.
Have you got it on Carsales?

just a bad time to be selling a car. 3 months ago this would have walked out the door. where else do you have it advertised?

If it was auto id be very tempted and if it had closser to 100,000kms i would of bought it straight away.


This is a very good example and its VSI LPG so u carnt go wrong there in regards to power and cost of fuel.

How much hp at the tyres?

For RWC it needs LHR tyre, windsreen either repaired or replaced and park lights changed to normal ones. I have green leds in them.
