Hi All,

I have a pair of JBL GTO 6.5" 605Ce 2 way components for sale - Specs are as follows :

* Peak Power Handling : 270 Watt Peak / 90 Watt RMS
* Frequency Response : 55 Hz - 21 kHz
* Sensitivity : 92 dB
* Impedance : 4 ohm (Dual Coil)

Image

They are a pretty powerful speaker...the tweeters come already mounted to factory EF/EL tweeter mounts that sit up on the dash beneath the crashpad. Chuck an amp on these and they would play pretty good - they do fit in the EF/EL doors with a baffle too.

RRP - $259.00
Price - $100.00

Thanks,
Steve

Not all that sure, as I have never had Jaycar speakers before...but from what I know, the Jaycars are pretty good (power wise) and are good bang for buck.

JBL GTO's typically play pretty loud and have good midbass for what they are IMHO...of course like most reasonable speakers, putting an amp on them will see them deliver the best results...although have had them running off the deck and they sound pretty good too *shrugs* :P

I will buy them off you if you can include the mdf spacers so they fit inside the Eseries doors.

I don't have any spacers...but I could make some for you if you had some 3 or 4mm MDF ?

I added you to MSN :)

Any idea how these would compare to my current Kicker speakers..

one of my midbasses has died and i've got the choice of paying $50-70 for a replacement one this thursday, or could replace with these (maybe if still available?)..

These JBL's .. 6.5"..

* Peak Power Handling : 270 Watt
* Frequency Response : 55 Hz - 21 kHz
* Sensitivity : 92 dB

my Kickers.. 6"

power handling peak/rms: 150/75watt
freq response: 35-21hz
sensitivity: 88dB

Dunno if that really helps but yeah..

Any ideas guys?
