a bumper is bulky and light but they go on cubic size . i have a couple of contacts but would still be close to the 200 mark (maybe $150ish). we need to find someone with a truckie mate that runs to perth.i could get that bar to Brisbane for only $50

The SS Inductions is a good price.. Where it works or not has yet to be proven on a dyno to me. It is bigger than the Tickford one, you have to make the hole in the airbox bigger for it to fit.

i pulled it of the car today. its huge they have cut the corner out of the lower part of the air box to fit the snorkle to it . i think it would work a treat would have to flow heaps more than the tickford one. maybe someone should try one on the dyno

Wouldn't it be a case of weather of not your engine actually needs more air or weather it's already getting plenty aswell?

Find a car with one on and put your hand over the snorkel then rev the engine - it sucks quite hard

i would garantee with a standard intake you would be lossing performance because of its size.

Yeah the stock air intake is very restricting, your not going to get ne where near the performance from a stock intake system compared to a SS induction system or even the Ticky intake.

When my xr was dyno'd i gained a s**t of more power just from taking the airbox and the stock intake out. It makes a difference upgrading it beleive me!

I went down there today. The SS Inductions is still there, I didn't buy it cause i'll think i'll wait a bit longer. It comes with the bottom of the Airbox, as they have made the whole bigger to fit the whole Snorkal pipe in it. And they are fairly huge; fair bit bigger than the tickford one.
