with stackers each brand use's there own type of cable and that cable can only be used with that brand of head unit and stacker, i know pioneer and alpine even have different cables for the older and newer head units, its a b**ch but its the way its done, you will probably find that unless its a pioneer or alpine or some other name brand then the only place to get one is ford, i wouldnt see it being under $100 either.

As for removal, you just have to follow where it goes, you might be lucky and they may have ran it down the side of the car or you may not and they may have ran it straight down the middle, just got to suck it and see.

the cable runs down the middle through the console. Well, it did in my car so seats and carpet have to come out

also, why didn't NL ghia's have the double din style system when EL ghia's did?

f**k that!
If EL XR8 doesn't come online tonight, I can ask him at Heathcote tomorrow if he wants it, sans cable.
He'd want a discount but, for preventing you from going through the process of ripping out all your seats to get one cable ;)

if you have to remove the cable the first thing you should do is just remove the console, if you can find the cable underneath the console you should be able to pull the cable from the dash end throuh to there, then pull out the back seat (just the bottom should do) loosen the carpet and see if you can pull it through to the boot from there, just be a little gentle and make sure the plug dosnt get hooked up, if that dosnt work then you have to go all the way and pull out the front seats.
