I'm getting a stand alone computer so have no use for the Unichip type C. It comes with the external (X driver?) which can modify the signal to a boost control solenoid.
The tune in it was from an XR6T.

$350

Will consider swap for quality wastegate + cash

What other costs are involved to get it set up for an EF?

install and tuning, I have the wiring diagram of what is needed to fit to an AU, you could cross reference that with an EF pinout and install it yourself

What other mods would you need to make this worthwhile?
What gains could be expected?

the usual breathing mods would make this worthwhile but it will also give you scope to do much bigger mods later on. Lumpy cams, low boost ect.
Gains are dependant on what mods you have already
