I'm wrecking a 1996 EF II Fairmont. It's taken a very hard hit up front - the engine block is pinned between the front end and the firewall. The electrics aren't working (probably a blown main fuse) so I'm going to have to rectify that before I can start testing if things work or not. I am trying to work out how many k's it's done and I'll post it up as soon as I know.

The car has been well looked after and the paint work is very good. Does anyone recognise it?

It's a 6cyl and has automatic trans.

Aftermarket stereo, front speakers and amp have been removed, rear speakers remain. Unsure of brand, I'll post it up when I pull them out.

It has pacemaker extractors, I assume it has a 2.5" exhaust but I haven't looked, and it's got a chrome tip which looks nice.

Here is some pricing. I won't commit to selling anything until I have had a chance to test it (or you'll take it as is).

I will post smaller items. All prices excluding postage

Instrument cluster - 2 broken clips on the perspex cover and the trip reset button was snapped off in the smash. Odo unknown at this stage. $30

Pacemaker Extractors - if they don't sell I'll bolt them onto the AU. $100

Full power window conversion $300:
  • Window regulators
  • Switches (writing is worn on some - see pic)
  • A reasonable amount of loom
  • Door trims

Cruise control conversion $160:
  • Cruise control switches (in good condition depsite airbag going off)
  • Cruise control module
  • Break booster switch

Climate control conversion $280:
  • Climate control module
  • Vac solenoid
  • Blend door motor
  • Fan speed controller
  • Sun sensor
  • Does not include ambient temperature sensor
  • I'll throw in the dashboard wiring harness if available and required

Trip computer $30 - $50 if you require the connector off the wiring harness

Tail lights w/ clear indicator lens $40 ea

Boot lid incl. Fairmont spear excellent condition $100

Rear bumper $75

Central locking actuators $20 ea

BEM $70

ECU - suggest that you pick it up and test it in your car prior to leaving $70

Transmission - price depends on K's and if I can get the sucker out. Ask if you are interested.

Fairmont wheels - $100 the set + your stockies (car needs to roll)

Side mirrors - good condition, some marks $30 ea

Exterior door handles $15 ea

Interior door handles $10 ea

Doors $80 ea

Seats $150 the lot or:
  • Drivers $60
  • Passenger $60
  • Rear bench, bolsters and backrests (backrest has board mounted to the rear - for mounting amplifier) $80

Rear console courtesy lamp lens & bulb holder $20

Anything else you want - please ask.

There has been a massive response to the extractors.

Perhaps we should auction them...? That way everybody gets a fair go (and of course it means a few more $$ for me)

Remember tho that you'll need to modify your cat or purchase the one out of this car ($30 condition unknown). If you look at the pic in the original thread you'll see what I mean.

Also it is unlikely australia post will take them due to size & weight. I'll check it out but pls be prepared to organise a courier.

Any takers?

Freight through Smart Send; http://www.smartsend.com.au/htm/default.asp ... My cat is already modified as I've got almost identical headers fitted at the moment so that's no problem for me.

seats will fit a EF GLi. The only issue with seats and EF/EL's is that the fairlane/LTD side bolsters are larger and therefore you must use low to mid series ones.
