G'day all,
Just acquired a '00 AU Falcon with slight front and side damage for wrecking. It is a white 4.0L auto.

Motor - $450ono
Trans - $400ono
Diff - $150

Alternator - $50
Starter motor - $50
Coolant bottle, clean, looks same as e-series - $40
Wiper bottle - $20 got diesel squirts?
ECU & BCM - $40ea
Discs - $20ea

Passenger airbag, undeployed - $50
Drivers airbag, undeployed - $50

Passenger guard - $60
LH headlight - $40
Front passenger door - $60
Rear passenger door - $60
Bootlid - $100
Rear bumper - $60

Instrument cluster, 147k - $40
Steering wheel - $70
Centre console - $80
Seats, set - $150ono
Sunglasses holder - $25
Seatbelts - $20ea
Door trims, set - $50 driver has small splits at mounts from damage, but still functional and straight
Carpet, perfect - $50
Hood-lining - $50
A, B, C pillar trims - $10pair

i need a motor and pretty much everything on it :P good luck with the sale and nice low k engine aswell

If you're really keen, I could throw it on a pallet and have it sent to melbourne, never looked into it but i'd imagine it'd be about $100-$150 to have it sent... if that sounds like the go, send me a PM and we'll look into it :)

Were the Au alternators the same as EF/EL...or were they a compatible swap?

No worries with seperating the calipers and suspension components, were you chasing the lower control arms and the steering knuckles? Make an offer on them :)

I don't see why they wouldn't be, they appear the same with connectors and mounts. No idea of the amperage, but i'm pretty sure uglybob is dead keen on grabbing it. I'll let you know if otherwise.

the alt boides are different

get an au alt and put it in the ef/el body :)



yes lower arms,uprights and calipers
