My mate is a kickboxer ( Mark Gilby - Australian Super Lightweight Champion)
He is in it because he loves doing it & having a title beside his name.
He makes OK money but it won't last for much longer, it's a young mans sport & there's always going to be someone younger & better coming along after your title..

I know that it can look like an out of control pub rumble or just aimless carnage but there is plenty of skill & honor in kickboxing, you just got to understand the rules.
I used to be able to beat Gilby when we where at school cause I'm much bigger than him but he can run rings around me now.
So these days i just try not to upset him too much (Yeah Right! lol) & if I ever do fight him, usually after a few ales I do it in a hallway or doorway so he can't roundhouse me, then I got a slim chance of laying a couple on him.

a bit of "old school" policing will sort out these "hero's" that are swarming our streets nowa days.

Remember when NYC was out of control? They took the stance of zero tolerance. In other words, you mouthed off at a copper, you woke up in a cell with a court date. simple as that, no one even thought of assaulting an officer, which is also on the rise here.
look at NYC today, its the safest big city in the US, but for some reason our governments think it wont work here..?
