Hey guys, have a look at http://www.autospeed.com.au/cms/A_111552/article.html - talks about a nice to drive XR6T engine that gets 1030 hp, over 800 nm torque thru most of rev range...

(I am not sure if this is a re-hash of a previous article but its dated 10 June..) Anyway, worth a look if you've not seen it - of interest was comparisons between the Ford DOHC head and Nissan GTR head - (quote)`The Ford DOHC has been slightly modified. “compared to a Nissan GT-R head, in standard form the XR6 head flows about 12 percent better on the inlet and 15 percent better on the exhaust.” '

Yep, and there was talk of 7 second 1/4ers not being out of the question when this motor was first built. I wonder how many of these engines Simon actually sold.

I remember this,He said at 200 he had not problem turning the tyers in top gear!

And they've probably done it cheaper than the Nizpro motor as well.

And you and a select few with the single cammers aren't that far behind either.
