hi guys ,just wondering what you guys know about the ait ea falcon ,a friend of mine has one and i didnt think there was many around,do you know how many were build?? regards ken :?:

yer it was a turbo EA, someone on fordforums was selling one not long ago that was really really quick.

from what i remember there were bout 100 or so built.
they had a t3 turbo ( i think) 12 injectors and bits here n there.. a 260 km/p hour speedo they were 5 speed gearboxes too.

bout as much as i can get outta my head at the moment.

SVO

AIT

there was also a twin turbo xf falcon that supposedly pumped out 380 horses and 560 nm of torque..it went to the uk and got written off.
that was made by another mob and they didnt do much after that.

It was AWD too. 0-100 in 6.0 seconds from memory. Would have been an absolute weapon back in the 80's.

hi, AIT stands for ADVANCED INDUCTION TECHNOLOGY it was a company that worked with ford to build the cars ,dont know how many were made but ford sold them and they even had ford factory warranty i think it was 2yrs or 20 thousand ks something like that... i will talk the bloke that owns it and find out more , i do know it has a special dash with AIT in the speedo or tacho ... ken

there were 2 factory turbo EA types.

AVO and AIT
both were very similar though.

I remember reading an article about it.. they said something along the lines of how spooky it was the way you could dump the clutch at 5000rpm on gravel and the car just launches hard.

There was about non awd ones made also. A mate has one sitting in his shed
never gets driven at all!
