And I used to be the biggest dreamer by far and away on this site now we have a new winner. I wonder if the pic he decides to show us of his old engine looks like Jason Ghillers old twin turbo setup in the XE back from when he was pulling 10.70's around 4 or 5 years ago.

Errrrm i have a cleveland crank out of an old xd, and some chevy 350 pistons and some vs v6 turbo manifolds, all of which are custom of course, of course...... but u will have about as much luck fitting them as u will fitting any pushrod to a ba motor, I6 or V8.....

Seriously though i work for ford and black mac performance, if u want me to hook you up with some info... anytime man, we just have been set up with all the capa gear for custom tuning, hehe...

On a more serious note define what is actually custom. The term gets thrown around very loosely these days. To me custom means a one off part that has been professionally made, not an off the shelf part that has had a bit of cutting and grinding done to it.

I've heard a lot of people using custom con rods in their cars. In this context the so called custom rods are an off the shelf item suited for another engine that has had its big end altered to fit your crank. In the early days conrods used to get hacked up and re welded to suit different piston pin heights in different engines.

But as for people using AU/BA/BF pistons and rods in their E series, that is not custom. Its all off the shelf and it all fits perfectly.

well hear is some more info i am in the proses of looking for a good but cost affective stuff to make it out of.

so that it will not cost you guys a arm and a leg to get it but as for the kit i have some sciters at home i will scan them and let you have a look and tell me what you think.

sorry for the wait just working all the info out and then i will put up the info.

Pick me, Pick me, Pick me..!

Nah but seriously, all this talk of "custom" parts has got me thinking...
I've been thinking of fitting a set of custom 'Dual overunderhangers' for my big pig...
Apparently they go good as, and it just as easy to fit as a set of ba xr8 heads onto my clevo..
