I left mine in and operational and made no real difference (seat of the pants) but on the dyno made almost 4rwkw difference but nothing to be worried about what I gained i lost in bottom end so?
thats at 8Psi 249RWKW & over 700NM of torque.

What made the 4kw difference,the difference to what and where????

made 4 rwkw more with the butterflies operational rather than tied off with a ziptie under 3800rpm

As it has been said, there are many variables involved - FWIW, mine are being controlled by the ECU...power curve shows a minor dip when they actuate, but has nearly been 'tuned out' - the low load everyday-driving makes low-end torque worth keeping IMHO.
