hi

i am going through buying a 2007 bf typhoon at the moment.

i was planning on doing the following, have people done this and what power did they get. also with the 25% overdrivven balancer do i need a retune?

25% overdrivven balancer kit
4 inch dump pipe
42 lb injectors
larger intercooler
tune

any advice is appretiated

it comes down to your tuner i dare say you d be lookin at about 300rwkw

surely you want an 'underdrive' balancer.

With those other specified mods, 300 would be disappointing, should be closing in on 400rwkw. But borderline, 350-360 would be safer until new valve springs and conrods are sourced.

What tuner do you plan on going to? I Recommend you only go to one with plenty of experience and good reviews from other XR6T/F6 owners. Any tuner can wind up the boost, but to keep it driveable, economical, and not risk blowing the engine takes some skill/experience.
