Nice update pics, manifold looks good for a DIY. The Eb also looks pretty tidy. Keep at it man.

WHY not just make up a J pipe from std flange with wastegate pipe off that ???
The extra few mm won't hurt ...

yeah i guess you could do that and it would work fine, i just wanted to get rid of the standard manifold all together. its been proven that both styles of manifold work well tho :)

here are some of the updates with my EB turbo Build :

had the head shaved so shes nice and smooth.
crow cam valve springs
oversize turbo valves
nason head bolts
nason timing chain kit
hastings usa chrome piston rings
ACL racing conrod bearings
ACL racing bigend bearings
MLS AU stainless steel headgasket
Greedy turbo timer
turbo smart boost controller
stuart warner boost gauge
new ford ed harmonic balancer
full engine gasket kit
proflow intercooler 600 x 300 x 76mm
JJR 40mm External wastegate
T4 oil feed return line kit
painted up my inlet manifold
custom exhaust manifold


so things have come a long way in a short amount of time. just saving up for a tune, exhaust and gear box and i can drop the motor in. should be awesome . :)

Today I went to the wreckers and picked up a new bonnet for the Eb. My old one was all acid washed and faded really bad. $50 and she looks as good as new again.

OH YEAH AND MY TURBO MANIFOLD ARRIVED TODAY TOO :) hell yeah !

just have to weld on the mounting flange for the wastegate and swap over a few accessories and i can pritty much drop the motor in.

it will still be a few months away as I have to save for an exhaust and tune.

not long now , hope you all like the work .
