Is it the oil pump or the oil pump pick up that causes the problem in fitting to el?

ok just got a email back from the guy who mod u r saying cant be done ..he was told its is ellegal to modify any sub frame including x members or any body section which breaches the structural streigth of the vehicle, any modifcations done to a vehicle which causes structural weakness is deamed unsafe in acordance with the australian laws and regulations any modification wich is done to a vehicle by an unlicenced or unqualifyed person.or persons..i could write every thing down but i feel that its enough in other words by nsw law u cannot cutt the xmember or alter it as its is deamed a structural part of the car and a safty requirement ..the only leagal way is to replace the whole xmember to suit the different engine ...he had three engeneeers who said the same thing and a rta inspector,, so there u have it this is why he decided to go with the sump modification ..and the bonnet is a issue as well ......................

Why are all the others k frames cut and welded, and still on the road? Because they get the welding done by a proffesional and the engineers know its done correct and they can pass it, if they did it witg their supercheap $59 stick welder in the back yard it would be a different story though

ha ha thats what i like about this web site u are quick to bag out people with out even having seen any proof that it isnt posible ...just for reference jet xr has a few pick of his work and from the coments the car is up for sale because its has been defected because hes cut into the xmember ..as for leons car it was passed on monday fully engeneered ef with a ba turbo engine installed with and il say it again with a smile a modyfide sumpan ..and he said it is posible to modyfy a ba engines sump, its very tight measurments but its doable..weather or not he has modyfide the oil pump components including the pick up is any ones guess ..and from what he said there are a few ef -el around with this mod done ...so u post a pic of an ef with a ba engine in it an show the web its not doable ...again show me any photo of this mod and why it cant be done i wana see a pic of a ba engine in a ef with out the sump pan on it ................you know it all so lets see how it cant be done .....

We all know you are full of s**t.
There is no way in hell you can fit a ba motor in an el bay with an el k frame without modding the k frame. There is NOT enough room to just trim a little off here or there. It NEEDS to be modified. Why dont you open your eyes and look properly at what you're claiming. Way to ruin a thread once again. Can someone just ban this half witted d***head already?

el k-frame (Which pushes the ba motor way through the bonnet)

And this is a build by a member on here who knows it will not fit and it CANNOT be modded to be made to fit without touching the k-frame. This is a b series k-frame custom fitted to an ed bay
