And also i want to no peoples opinions on my internal gate will it be fine for 300rwkw? Its a dual port and its a genuine garret i think it will be ok but i also want to no if it would make a big difference if i got a merged dump pipe made for it that is big and stretches over the wastegate ports or will the vband one i have be fine? Its 3.5inch vband..

Merged dump will flow more and let the gases from the wastegate leave the turbo quicker .
How ever I don't think the waste gate ports will allow enough gas to flow out .
You may have issues with boost creep .

Though the xr6 t is capable of 300 rwkw on stock turbo , which I believe is internally gated.

Yeh thats what im worried about but i cant see it not flowing enough when these turbos are designed for a 7.3 litre diesel running alot more boost than around the 14psi ill be running.. how much would a external gated rear housing cost me? Anyone else have an opinion on my gate?

They are single wastegate , but you can port them for more flow

Mmm i might just have to give it a go.. just not very keen on spending the money on getting a merged dump made up then end up needing an external gate..

I've been using a ceramic cushion button clutch with the extra hd pressure plate in my eb for a while now with no problems, but i also only have 240 rwkw. With 300wkw it would be pushing things to the limits for sure. Gear changes need to be smooth and not to fast. At that power one dump in 3rd will more than likely end it's existance. You won't need to mash gear changes for exciting things to happen.

If the dump pipe covers the whole rear housing with a divider atleast 100mm between turbine and wastegate you WON'T have any issues...

This what I did on my V8..

Why so much benefit from the divider? And do you mean in the start of the dump pipe or the housing itself?
