C.P are one of the worlds best pistons..
Rods and pistons..

Atomic is another agent for Cosworth and builds Fords...

He is looking for Pistons etc for an EL 4.0 SOHC. Links you have posted are for 4.0 DOHC.

Atomic does do kits for the 4.0 SOHC but don't list the pistons and rods seperate

http://www.atomicperformanceproducts.co ... _kits.html

Would probably pay to contact them with your requirements.

Spool list these;

These guys are actually Aust agents for C.P pistons...
Barter the price ... They shouldn't be too far over $1k now..
http://www.qri.biz/

You can use the LONGER AU / B.A rod with custom piston
with AU / BA pin size...
Although if your pushing serious power a larger pin can be
ordered.. The nice part about custom pistons..
The latter Ford rods are full floating which is why the change in size...

Call sps pistons in Dandenong. In Australia, they crap on ross, cp, atomic and everone else. Bit pricey but for the quality, they're worth it. Only other brand I'd reccommend over them are diamond pistons from the states. Awesome quality but exy as well.

I found diamond to be awesome on price, but building a 351W helps there. $597 for 8 forgies for my 351W landed here in Aus, gotta be happy with that.

Off the shelf for V8 would be a N/A piston..
Compared to custom forced induction pistons..
Diamond and C.P are used in Nascar I doubt an Aus company
would produce a better piston..
What I like about Cosworth, Diamond and C.P is they make
pistons designed for forced induction and DON"T rattle !!!
If fitted correctly...
Atomic are Cosworth pistons..
They are right up with the best also..

Truth. Only company I rate with them though is SPS.

JOhn with the 9 second mustang has done 100's of passes and over 20k of street driving (daily) on 40+ psi and he's still going on them.

You may want to mention that was with a SOHC 6. And IIRC, LPG too.
