dont want to ut a damper on things but i doubt you will have it installed and ready to go for under $2k. the ecu alone will cost you that much. also might want to look into a high volume fuel pump

You might want to tell him to get one of the intercoolers currently on special then! And tell him to get the guy in teh wrehouse to check it first, as a couple have been a bit rough in the construction.
Getting a BOV should be easy for him, as most stores are stocking them now.
ECU's, I've never found a supplier at work who does em.

im pretty sure ud be able to reach the 180 200 fwkw mark for less than 2000 by keeping it N/A and going for exhaust extractors intake and cam work...

the turbo is to small.. all you'll get is really aerly boost then above 4000rpm it will choke the engine.

no chance on stock computer. compression will be fine, im going to be using 9:1 when i do my engine

I think you will be fine with the stock EEC with such a low boost setup, there are quite a few people doing it. Just run a rising rate reg and a good fuel pump to richen things up under boost and maybe back the timing off a bit. A better way would be to get soemthing like a chiptorque, they do off the shelf tunes for upto 6psi I believe (more than enough for 200kw IMO) above that you want something custom tuned like a unichip or aftermarket system. As said the T3 is a bit small, but for the power you are aiming for I think it will be OK. I would run a basic manifold, you can get away nice and cheap by modifying the stock manifold. With a low boost setup you don't really need a cooler, but obviously it will help. You could also look at water injection rather than IC, it is relativly cheap and easy to install and is very effective IMO.

so does that mean having a bigger cooler would be a good idea in this case?
