nice surprise for me 2day as i was driving off i heard a nice metalic snap and a massive exhaust leak. stopped the car and had a look under the bonnet to my surprise my turbo turbine housing had snapped the weld and was resting on the turbine. Wicked just what u want. anyway it just touched the turbine so it may be rebuild time? housing f*#ked :evil:

turbos are very precicely balanced i would hope that that hasnt thrown the turbine balance out...
sorry to hear mate... were you givin it much???
what sort of turbo???

no just taking off must have been cracked for a while. its a to4b .60 cold a/f .84hot a/f was making 217rwkw. if its not hurt i will probabily go 1.06 a/r turbine. should give me a bit more up top. :twisted:

How old is the turbo? Turbo wheels get rooted very easy if anything touches them
