i just paid 25K for one with 89kms, mercury silver, premmo sound, leather, sunroof and fpv leather wheel.

There was one around the corner from me for 21K, but it had 140+kms on it and no options.

Dude, dont buy an early one with 4sp or T5 unless you only plan minor mods...the trans are weak as... and I know you'll want 300wkws atleast, like me :D

heh, nah 250rwkw for me, I have to keep it quiet and with the best possible fuel economy so that means no big injectors or high flow exhausts.

I'd love 6 speed auto but they're out of my price range unfortunately.
A 6 speed manual would be nice too, but after sitting in a new ute in the showroom the other day I found the clutch really heavy. I don't think the missus would be able to drive it, which is a requirement (unfortunately  )

Sadly I'm hitting the "family car" stage of my life. I reckon it's a pretty good trade off

Mine has better than stock, waaaay better, econ. Most do with a good edit tune, regardles of injector size and power. Around towns its 12/100 taking it easy

With my car now sold efforts must be doubled to find a T and spend as little amount of time as possible on the train!

I'm searching all the usual places but if anyone happens to see a mercury silver T in the low 20s in their travels let me know :)

Not sure if I saw it here or on the turbo site, but someone in the territory is selling a black T....sounded like a good deal too. I would've bought it and not the one I've got if I had the choice again :P

Edit: heres the link for ya Hyena

BTW transporting a car isn't very expensive either. Reckon it was about 130 bucks to bring one from Darwin to Adelaide a couple of years ago. 8-)

Yeah I'd like a black one, too hard to keep clean though!
Even in phantom my EF was bad enough.
I also have to get an auto this time around so the missus can drive it too. It's also about 8k more than I wanna spend, and I reckon it'd cost alot more than $130 to get it shipped from darwin!

I finally found one. I was hoping to get one with leather but I thought I'd be better off with a low k example considering I dont do many ks anyway. (and I can always add leather later if I'm really enthused)

2004 BA XR6 Turbo
Mercury silver
Premium sound
only 52,000ks

$22,200 with a full tank of fuel and 4 brand new tyres :)

I pick it up on Tuesday :D
