I finally found one. I was hoping to get one with leather but I thought I'd be better off with a low k example considering I dont do many ks anyway. (and I can always add leather later if I'm really enthused)

Good buy Hyena!
Bet you don't miss the old wheels now
Welcome to the mercury silver club; it's pretty exclusive
The more silver ones there are on the road the less mine stands out and the less likely I am to cop another pretty sticker

Yeah I'm pretty happy with it. It doesn't draw anywhere near the attention that my old one did but that's good too in a way. I came hacking around a hairpin yesterday only to be confronted directly by a cop car coming the other way. They barely glanced at me. w00t!
Mods start this weekend :D

Just brought oil pressure and boost gauges, the new auto meter stepper motor ones :) (haven’t got the centre pod yet, cant decide on 2 or 3 gauges, 3rd one would be oil temp…)
and a lower grill insert for the front.

Oh and I paid $27K for mine about 6 weeks ago with WRC, 12 months rego and 49000Km on it

CAI and K&N filter first then edit in the next week or 2. A transmission cooler is also on the do to list, even though I'm not aiming for uber power (around 250rwkw) I don't wanna have gearbox problems.

I've ordered an upper and lower grill in satin chrome and I'm going to replace the rear with with a DJR bobtail (probably a few months away)

I'll throw on some 18s when I come across some for a good price (either BA 18" XR8 or some 5 spoke aftermarket rim) but I've got brand new tyres so I'll wear those out first. I can barely get them to break traction actually! The edit should solve that problem though

And there's the beauty.
In a classy Merc Silver T, your not going to attract any unwanted attention.
Your just a mild mannered family man who's going for a relaxed drive, probably on your way to a family BBQ who wouldn't dream of doing anything naughty in his family sedan.

That wouldn't be CV by chance would it ? :P
I've already been down to see them, I'm going to get a generic edit and see how I go with that first .I'll probably get around the 250 mark with filter and intake.

yep thats the one.

its a bit of a lucky dip when it comes to editing as far as power is concerned most cars will make different power depending on age and build date.

mine made 255.5 on the stock filter and snorkel and stock zorst but it had 5oookm on the clock.

once i added a filter and injectors and intercooler, with pipework restrictions removed it ran up to 275rwkw slipping the clutch at 270.
i think it has 290 to 300 rwkw in it once i get the clutch sorted. i tried a cheaper clutch but had no success.

since then iv picked up a mal wood option 3 kit for the 6 speed its going in next week and fuel pump and reg.
this should make a nice safe 300rwkw untill i save up again and get my atomic bottom end.

Your is an auto too ?
Have you run it down the strip? Probably good for a 13 flat ?

I'm temped to do injectors as well, but I don't want to have to do a 2-3k gearbox rebuild for a few hundred bucks worth of injectors!
