Hi guys

I just bought an 06 typhoon and wanna get a set of injectors and pump for it. im only asking because it has a flash tuner and 2x2.5" exhaust already and it is INSANLY quick. if it was me i wouldave got the injectors first thing. so i just wanna make sure they are still the standard ones first before purchasing them.

the ones fitted are a navy blue colour

also can i get away with just a flash tune after fitting a high flow cat and 4" dump pipe? (i live 1600kms away from the nearest tuner) and maybe an ebay or capa cooler? if so who is good to use?

Its done 100000kms but has had factory log book servicing and is in mint condition

Factory injectors are a navy blue...

But some tuners get them drilled, potentially with an output of upto 80lb I understand.

You'd really need to know what the previous owner did, and who worked on the car.

A retune isn't 100% necessary for just an exhaust. But it is when you replace the cat. So, has the cat been replaced too?

With the standard dump, injectors, cat you'd be looking near or just over 300rwkw. A higher flow exhaust will make a difference there.

But if it still has the stock cat, it would be doing a hard working 250/260 rwkw.

yes it still has the standard dump pipe and cat.

my intentions is to just do new injectors, cat & dump pipe and probably a direct swap intercooler. beyond that it gets to pricey, to hard and spirals into a bottomless money pit. for this would a flash tune be alright? it would only be till i get to perth. (next 3-12 months). it has a twin 2.5" exhaust fitted already.
what would be a realistic power figure?
also i can only purchase 95 ron fuel here if that makes a difference to anything?

You'd be better off buying everything you want to fit, take it with you to perth and then fit it to the car and get a tune straight up.
Changing the cat and exhaust many cause the engine to over boost. You many bend a rod.
You many also melt a piston from lean mixtures.
