Real nice job man, tidy work. Also like the calm looking vehicle its in, the perfect recipe for blown fun.
What is running the show ecu wise?

The old STA's, they seem to keep popping up all over the place and I have never seen one setup just like this. I do recall they had kits for Fords but never really clapped eyes on one

What is running the show ecu wise? Nothing as of yet, thats next on the list- any suggestions? Haven't had any dramas, although once you floor the pedal the ecu s**t itself a bit. Dyno was before headwork and bottom end, Forgot to mention, theres a crow cam in there as well A/c was removed, didn't have A/c in the last car. But i should be able to remount him somewhere |

Just an update, blew a belt the other day, so off to the mechanics... diagnosis was a dodgy harmonic balancer, fixed that today and fitted a new belt only to blow that one on the way home...
Now is a 7pk belt going to handle this any better or is it more a lining up issue any help would be good |

Is the blower held in place with just those two bolts in the photo?
answer to your question= if it was a alighment issue, you would of gone through a hand full of belts by now. does the belt pulley whobble when you rev the engine?

Just checked 3 bolts Will get back to you on pulley wobble- too dark = The mechanic installed the belt, i went to the bank and gave it a bit and it had moved across 2 ribs= Current belt was a dayco 6pk1155 now would a 1145 fit? or a 7pk1155 suffice? thanks again Last edited by millzy555 on Tue Apr 15, 2008 7:50 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

why not look up a force induction specialist around your area. they should have a pulley alignment laser to check if your pulley grooves are square with one another. I'll also get them to assess the rigidity of those bolts. because the opposite side isn't bolted.

Just out of curiosity , how much boost are you running and how big is the Blower pulley?

bout 8-10 psi, no idea on pulley size, i'l check tomorrow for you.
