Hi All,

Just looking for a bit of guidance really. I've got a ford eb93 fairmont that i want to waste around 10-15k on. I want to get it stripped back and a mickey mouse paint job, stick some type of kick butt motor with supercharger or turbo in it, exhaust, wheels, and fix up the air con/heater etc.
Basically I want to get it looking and sounding real schmick and use it as a weekend car. I know there are probably plenty of other options rather than hot up an eb but the car holds a fair bit of sentimental value.

Anyway, I live in the northern suburbs of melbourne so if you know of a company/group that specialize in these sorts of mods can you please let me know.

Many thanks, GSJ.

10-15 grand for someone else to paint your car and turbo charge it and you want wheels for it? wont get a good paint job or turbo kit, it costs 3-5grand depending on quality of parts for a basic turbo kit, then you need labour, and you need to tune it etc, then you want someone to paint it, do you want a closed door job in the original colour or a custom job including engine bay/doorjams?

i think he will need atleast 25-30g to do what he wants..

top quality paint job, 10g
built engine, 4-6g
supercharger or complete turbo set up ,6-10 g depending on quality of parts used, including tuning, fuel system, exhaust ect.
fairly nice set of wheels, 8-$1500..

i think he needs deeper pockets

Hi All,

Thanks for your replies. By the sounds of it I'll have to spend a bit more than I first thought, no problem though. Great to get some feedback by people who know what they are doing. I've certainly got some more homework to do.

Cheers, G.
