I paid for the car, there is no way in hell my folks would/could buy it for me.
I finished school had a couple months off living off my folks which was gay then i got a full time job for a month and a half (now almost 4months) and got a loan for it. I wanted it, i knew what i had to do to get it so i did it. The only thing my folks are helping me with is the insurence. I have to pay for petrol, any work that i want to do to it, rego and all that kinda stuff.
Thanks for all the nice comments and i am sorry for going off my tits over nothing really.

68Stang im sorry if i had a go at you, i didnt me to offend you if i have. I love stangs, my fav would be the Sliver 67 with the plates MY 67, its got a the retro gear as well as the old school mustang look. It would out handle alot of modern cars.

OH ANOTHER big thing...... on my way to work i got run up the a*** of a guy in a regal homes work ute cos its raining. I could see him coming up behind me and i tried to crep forward but he still hit me, the GOOD NEWS is that he only hit my tow ball. So i am now going to leave the tow ball on there permently.

Griffo

Ps. Also did that Boost controller clean thingy, i think its going better now, more up top i think

man u having some bad a** luck with that car. 2 accidents in like 2 weeks ><

Yea i would ahve loved to have got a F6 but i cant afford that much.

I have mods that i am thinking about and i would like everyones opinion:
1. Buy a flash tuner
2. Buy bigger fuel pump (what size??? 500hp one)
3. Buy Bigger injectors (again what is the better size???)
4. Get exhaust, i got quoted 1,650 for Full exhaust, dump pipe, hi flow cat all 3" but iw as thinking if i just get a good dump pipe and hi-flow cat and maybe rear muffler removed that would do well to and save me some money

Thats all so far then eventually i will get a new intake manifold and intercooler so i can have the really short pipe work. Make it like a home job Nizpro kit.

What does everyone think???

Griffo

getting all of that would get you up around the 300kw mark, thats round about the time you would have to start doing bottom end work if you want to go further. Pretty good though for a minimal amount of work

You do realise though all of that work with just the cat and dump (not full exhaust) will cost you easily over 3 grand, not to mention also that you will have to do some work to your transmission somewhere down the track.

Even if you just get the flashtune box with some custom tuning you will notice a big difference, and you realise other things start wearing out quicker (like brake pads, tires :D )

but go for it mate, tis good fun. Just don't let your right foot get too heavy

If you can wheelspin by planting it in any gear at 100km/h then that is more then enough balls. After that its just a numbers game that you can win by popping viagras.

LOL yea i would love to be bale to smokem when cruzin on the highway and just plant it but i dont even want to think about how much it would cost to get my car to be able to do that.

First thing is first i will get a flush tuner and have it custom tuned cos that way i can always go back and get it re tuned when i do futher mods.
Maybe a flash tune and a dump pipe and some/maybe full exhaust first up and see what i can get out of that.
Now does anyone know of anyone good in Canberra to tune the car????????? I will go to Sydney if need be but it will be easier if in Canberra

Cheers
Griffo

will insurance allow so many mods on your car with your age ? surely this will hike your premiums ?

Im not on the insurence,
I checked it when i paid it and it would be $2,100 or there about but the lady said if i am driving it and crash then i will be able to get away with it once but if i crashed it again they would start asking questions about why im not on the papers

You could talk to Peter at Autotech in Fyshwick.. just ask em. He's more Euro's but they tune some very nice cars, aussie muscle, Ferrari's etc..

Don't go anywhere near Dynotune in Belco, they were nobheads and too $$ on my mates BMW.. Couldn't even put a air filter back on the right way, sucked in all the dirt on the outside..

You mentioned some RWC in d**k, wasn't Jacko's was it? They seem cool, passed my last car with no drama's.

There is abit of a difference between a mates son driving the car and someones OWN son driving it. I could have insured it but i didnt see the point in wasnt $1,200 it have me on the policy.

Does this sound right to you guys????
I have had my car on to different dyno's on to different days and it has pulled 229rwkw and 221rwkw?????????

i am more respected to go with the 221 as it seems to be the better dyno but yea when i pulled the 221 (today) there was to other XR6T both MkII 6-speed manuals with less the 60k on them and they got 220.3 and 223rwkw so it is all about the same mine just been an auto.

This seems high what do you guys think????
