Hey all, need some advice, does $4,000 sound like a good price for the following turbo conversion and would it be suitable on a BA or e-series:

AirResearch TO4E Turbo, custom manifold, dump pipe, cooler and piping, autogauge turbotimer and boost gauge with smoke face, Bosch 404 fuel pump 700hp, 550cc injectors, turbo pod filter, all oil and water lines.

As far as I can see, the only thing i'll need extra would be the ECU.

internal wastegate? or external?
3inch exhaust from dump to tip?
is it a manual? might want a BOV if it is.
piping work?

depends how far you wanna go past that as to making your driveline last like gearbox and diff wise.

But for that price on that kit it seems like a good deal to me although keep in mind you've got a lot more to spend.

Seems like pretty good price, depending on how used it is, and what car was it off as ba and au/e-series manifolds are differant.

You also may need a new dump pipe depending on what car it came off.

As for the computer I'm pretty sure you can just get a flash tune, but you might need a few extra sensors...
