I just put a new turbo on my car about 7 weeks ago, ever since, I have big puffs of dirty coloured smoke only on boost, it's not specifically white or blue or black, but a dirty grey colour, almost looks like the car is running heaps rich (that type of smoke). How it works is the first time I boost it after start up, there's quite a bit of smoke, but then as I drive it and every boost hit there after the smoke becomes less and less, sometimes to the point of blowing no smoke, I think it's the oil feed nipple, I had to get a new one and its opening is 6mm diameter, compared to my old one was only 1.5mm, and the oil drain is a little more horizontal than before, maybe getting oil backed up in drain, or maybe s**t turbo,? From what I understand oil blowing through the seals doesn't necessarily mean blown seals, someone got any suggestions?

Valve stem seals . Or opening up the feed is putting to much oil thru ya turbo and blowing it out the seals . Try putting the restrictor back in it

if its a ball bearing turbo put the restrictor back in, if its std bearing turbo its ok without restrictor...

otherwise the smoke could be engine related..
