Do you plan on using the standard computer or aftermarket? That should be the first thing you ask yourself. Then you can take things such as fuel regs into account.

Because you will be able to tune the injectors to deliver as much fuel as the engine needs, there is no need to 'force' more fuel in with a different reg.

You can still use a different reg, you will just have to 'tune out' the extra fuel pressure to deliver the same amount of fuel.

the standard reg is 1:1 and boost referenced. Just stick with the standard one. rising rate regs are just for when your injectors are too small

No

You only really need to change the reg if you are trying to push the fuel system beyond its limits. Since you are doing it properly and upgrading the injectors and using a aftermarket ECU there is no need to change the reg.
