It would wanna be a damn good kit and give good gains for that kind of coin, its not exactly a competitive price.

You are right that the price is pretty out there since there Raptor Superchargers start at $3,900.00 and CAPA at $5,351.00 (but they usually give discounts and include some of the fuel and ECU side of things in there kit).
Then there's also Snort's inhouse competition from there turbo kits which are much cheaper.

how many kits include a custom inlet manifold, W2A intercooling, and a Positive Displacement supercharger for an I6, btw this kit makes 6psi with a 9 and 12psi pulley available, with full boost at idle

What kinds of gains for the money though? Alot of the supercharger kits dont get as high figures as a good turbo kit, which is cheaper.

Yeah true especialy on an inline six.

Fact is turbo kits can be done cheap these days and 7 gs is alot of money.

Id realy like to see power figures for this setup, does look nice tho.

With a positive displacement supercharger your not looking for peak power output.

Yeah i know, i've have a couple of supercharged cars. This is exactly my point though, its alot of money for what it is, and especially coming from the company who does good cheap turbo kits too.

For the power and torque curve that this charger kit would give, you could pretty much do with turbo anyway for half the cost.

the whipple supercharger system is not the only kit under development from snort :)

however the liquid cooled whipple 2.3 system can support 1000hp with purcpose built engine its more stage 5 then basic supercharger kits offered by other companys

for the more budget end of the market we have just finished development of the eaton m112 supercharger kits and is priced around 3.5k !!

these supply INSTANT boost under throttle , and will be more than competetive on the street/strip to be sure ;)

Personally I'm extremely interested and waiting info, could definitely be a worthy upgrade from my Powerdyne.

Well after reading this info and approx power figures, it sounds like these kits will become very popular. Seeing as you also have the $3500 budget kit, and approx power figure of the other kit is pretty impressive, i retract my prior statement.

That seems like impressive value.
